LUNCH AND DINNER WITH THE LEAGUE
A FREE ONLINE EVENT!

Our local tradition continues online! Lunch and Dinner with the League
is a time for us to get together for timely and relevant discussion about
local issues. Happening every 2nd Tuesday of the month, these events
continue to occur via Zoom. We hope to be back at Patrick’s Grille in the
near future! All information about the League's activities may be found on

LARRY CALDWELL ADDRESSED THE LEAGUE ABOUT CLIMATE CHANGE IN NW INDIANA


On October 13th the League featured 
Larry Cadwellwho spoke on "The Worsening Climate Crisis in Our Own Back Yards"Larry informed us of what we can do about climate change as individuals and as a group in terms of preparation and mitigation. Science, ecology, and conservation are his core interests. He grew up in Rolling Prairie, and since he liked the great outdoors so much, acquired degrees in Wildlife Conservation, Wildlife Biology, Health Physics, and Radiation Ecology. His career included being a college professor, a research scientist for the US Department of Energy, and managing research projects for several government agencies. He has stayed current with all of his interests, including climate change. Science, ecology, and conservation are his core interests.
