Indiana State Legislators:

 Election bills introduced:

SB 188 and HB 1074 would require School Board candidates to declare a party. 

HB 1225, "Election Security", would prohibit ballot drop-boxes. 

HB 1183 would repeal the right to straight-ticket voting.

HB 1131 would establish a somewhat independent redistricting commission. (majority of       members would be appointed by the legislators)      

SB 14 would prohibit firearms at polling places and places where votes are being counted.

SB 68 Core Curriculum Model      

SB 70 Would decriminalize possession of less than 1 ounce of marijuana       

SB 81 would require counties to fund the establishment of community intellectual and developmental disability centers.       

SB 89 would enhance sentences for rape       

SB 22 removes certain limitations on punitive damages in civil rape cases


      Representative Boy:      

HB 1190 Closure of coal combustion residuals surface impoundments      

HB 1193 establishes grants for greenhouse gas emissions inventories      

HB 1192 raises minimum wage incrementally so that by 2026 it would reach $12.10 per hour.


      Representative Pressel:      

HB 1035 Township Assessors can be eliminated by public question votes      

HB 1049 Bike Traffic Control Signals      

HB 1175 Utility scale battery energy storage system
